Since some of the P5 schools played 5-8 games last year was all, teams that played 11/12 games, returned a lot of guys, or FCS teams that played a shorter season in the spring all have a leg up on them.
I haven't checked the stats on FCS wins this year; it doesn't feel like it's necessarily higher, but they seem to be knocking off teams that are supposed to be better. Usually it's just Kansas and G5 teams losing, but SEC, ACC, Pac have all lost to FCS (while Kansas actually eked their FCS game out).
