I really liked Bronco. I really like Kalani. I wish people would stop trying to
make the two a competition of who is better. I don't think their careers at BYU will ever be lined up in such a way that a fair comparison can be made. It seems like KS has turned a corner and may become something really great here. He got us a huge year in 2020 regardless of what the rest of his legacy may look like, tbd.

Though I like KS, I still appreciate the big year we got from Crowton in 2001. I appreciate Lavell Edwards making this program something from nothing; the 80's; the championship; the exciting QB play; etc. But I appreciate what Bronco did for this program too; the big years we got from Bronco in 2006-2009 (while I was at BYU); the recovery from Crowton era disappointments; keeping the program afloat through the transition to independence. I appreciate all that, despite how he apparently rubbed so many of you the wrong way.

I feel like it's time to let it go and just enjoy what Kalani does. Your statement could have been something as simple as, "I love the way KS really holds on to BYU tradition and includes former players. I think a lot of former players are more invested in the program than ever. That will likely help the program because of ..."

But whatever.
