For the 2.5 yrs I lived in Mesa I can honestly say I never met
A single ASU or UofA diehard.
Not one.
Granted that was 20 yrs ago, but I found it strange. Maybe it's because the valley is vast and there's a ton of tranplants.

I’ve had multiple guys in Arizona wards over the years that “hate” BYU. I don’t understand it. It’s pretty common.
