It appeared to be situational, not for resting. How else to explain sending

the defense out for the first play after a change of possession, then subbing 4 guys before ASU even snapped the ball? This happened multiple times. And as was mentioned, guys were sprinting off and on the field and not set when ASU snapped the ball. It caused a substitution penalty. It appeared rushed.

It hurt us a few times with blown assignments. Luckily, ASU made 2 mistakes as well when we were not ready.
