What I mean by "everybody," is "at least someone on every team."
I don't know what your experience is with "disciplined athletes," but I suspect it is limited. I played with dudes who went to the NFL, and I watched dudes on my team, and opposing teams at Idaho State do this stuff every game.
Remember a couple of years ago when that linebacker went viral for trying to check the oil of an Ohio State player? He said he was just trying to break up the monotony of the game, and the OSU player didn't complain. That tells me that neither of them thought it was that far out of the common way. Happens in every game on both sides.

Did the refs swallow their whistles on these because they are incompetent and just missed them or because they are
