I have a LOT of Ws. Battled with health issues a lot while enrolled.
Some Ws where for health reasons, some for workload, some for sheer laziness (I was NOT a good student, barely had a 2.0 gpa)

Got a good enough job right after graduating, worked my way to where I am now and doing well enough. In my opinion I think it mostly depends on whether or not you graduate. I'm certain there are a lot of fields where it would matter more, it didn't for mine. Also, I imagine it would have some bearing on grad school or other future education, but I knew that wasn't my path.

I'm probably not the best example, though.
