I've stopped trying to gain self esteem/actualization from my career
I made a switch of companies and jobs 5 years ago trying to challenge myself change it up etc. It sucked bad for a litany of reasons I could make a 2,000 word post about. My old company brought me back with open arms and I've been happy/bored ever since and will be for another 20 + years or whenever I retire.
Trying to seek happiness through your career is a fools errand anyways.
