Yeah, my paternal grandfather ran his own businesses for most of his adult
life and routinely worked 70 hours per week.
And running your own business means being beholden to customers and clients (i.e., someone else is still effectively controlling you).
The only ideal scenario, IMO, is to be wealthy enough to live off passive investments.
