This will be interesting. For years there have been internal discussions at BYU
to close all main campus parking. Students would park at LES, Faculty and staff at the MC. It mostly pisses off the faculty who think they have a right to park right next to the buildings they work in. BYU won't build a parking structure because of cost. Maybe more will start to use the bus system which is free to them anyway.
For security reasons alone, BYU should close the parking and driving on campus and do it before some freak shows up. And there should never be parking below a building in this day and age, when there is above ground parking within walking distance.
