You always HAVE to have two (or more) of every position.....
No one really expects ONE RB to take every snap for every game. Everyone rotates in several receivers throughout the game. Rotating Defensive linemen is pretty common. MAYBE you have one punter the whole game for the whole season, but usually he is only playing a few snaps a game.
I think the days when ONE QB played the whole game the whole year are rapidly fading.....
