But the PSU player was not defenseless and was trying to make a scoring football
play. And that is why the officiating expert said it was the wrong call. Should not have been targeting. You can contact a player’s head/neck area if he isn’t defenseless and you don’t initiate contact with the crown of your helmet.

He didn’t lead with his helmet yet his helmet hit the PSU player’s helmet first before his shoulder hit him?
