That you don't give up big plays. With a significant lead, USF needed to score quickly to win. They didn't and couldn't. The color analyst kept talking about how they needed to take shots to the end zone but they couldn't do it.

BYU was blitzing some, actually but the Bulls OL was pretty decent and the QB was very good at extending the play and the injuries for BYU were extensive (lots of young players and people playing out of position).

It wasn't good but it wasn't quite what some people are saying
