no favors by excessively beating that drum. People know you’re a friend/family member & understand there’s a bias there so dismiss it as less reliable. If that’s the only player you ever talk about when other players are doing well too or diss them b/c they compete for PT then it’s down right annoying homerism. That will be mocked here every time.
Just remember it’s a team sport. Comment on the team as a whole & other players in a fair light. Your hyper focus on Johnson means every bad thing he does also will bring hyper criticism from others who just want you to tone it down. That’s not fair to him so you put more pressure on him than he may deserve.
Just dial it back to A) not be an annoying jerk here and B) not put any more pressure on your boy than players naturally have.
