If SJ is a more efficient player, he should play more, regardless of what year he is in.
But it is very fair to compare T/O rates along with assist rates,, regardless of position. PGs should have higher assists to compensate for turnovers.
It's telling that despite his excellent 3 point shooting, SJ's offensive efficiency was only 100 due to high turnovers and low assists. 100 was lowest in the rotation, save for George.
I think he can be really good, perhaps bring his arc shooting up even more (to 45%?), and he made some pretty plays on both ends. Sometimes making pretty plays happens due to high risk play. He's an exciting guy to watch. Will be nice if he can do that with consistent efficiency. Last year he didn't. Teams simply can't be good without efficient analytics. Johnson has to do better in that regard to help us more. Hope he does.
