Let's let the guy come in and hit shots at some key time of the season and he will be a valuable contributor. 10 games last year where his stat line went 0-X for a guy whose skill he brings is shooting the ball. He has no ability to absorb pressure, in fact part of the reason his TO ratio is so good is because against pressure man he literally catches the ball with the intent to get rid of it as fast as he can.

If Spencer and Knell can come in off the bench and fulfill their respective roles CONSISTENTLY then they will be huge contributors to the team this year. Neither should be getting an increase in "primetime" minutes this year but they can do things that help this team win.
