Were intentionally holding stuff back just to beat BYU?

I'll take "Things I'm not buying for $1000".

That stuff can be true in 1st games, or 1st games against a real opponent after opening with cupcakes but game 6 when you should have been doing everything you can to win games...

I could see if they had some significant personnel changes (new QB perhaps) and needed to change to accommodate that players capabilities...but I do not think that is the case either...
