Dodge Chargers are among my all-time favorite cars
I've had a lot of them. I like the '68 just a little more than the '69. Still have four Chargers, two 68's and two 69's. All R/T 440's.
The 440 is a great engine and can get enough HP squeezed out of it to beat a Hemi. But the Hemi engine cars are very rare and desirable. Unfortunately, none of mine is a Hemi.
The prices on the 1968 Chargers have shot up recently. The 69 as well but maybe a bit less. I'm always on the hunt for another 68 Charger 440 for a good price. I'd buy all I could get if it was a good car. Also a Hemi of course. But there is no such thing as a good price these days.
It's incredible the prices the Chargers are bringing. Rare and desirable Muscle Cars and people have lots of money to spend.
