As a Padres fan, I agree with you. We thought we could chomp at those ankles

this year but what a dud we turned out being. I know the real rivalry is SF/LA. The biggest reason this is the case is because the Padres have sucked for so long. SD/LA could be a better natural rivalry if the Padres could ever get their crap together.
