Hmmm, yeah can disprove this in about 10 seconds.

Aaron Lowe (scholarship player) was tragically killed on September 25th. Scholarship open for someone to come in mid year, just like Aisea was wanting to do.

Aisea decommitted on the 29th.

Even if it was a concern for them to have a scholarship for him before Aaron's tragic death, a scholarship crunch was certainly NOT the reason he decommitted.
