the sailor coug because it’s a throwback to an earlier time?

That would surprise me because most of you are too young to be nostalgic. For example, you mock the shorts basketball players wore in the 80s. I’d be willing to bet you’d throw a fit if BYU brought back the Cosmo costume from the Ernest Wilkinson era. So what is it about the sailor coug that gets you jazzed? Would you purchase and wear striped sailor hats if the BYU “Bookstore” sold them? Personally, I wouldn’t be caught dead in one.
