Here's the side-by-side. I understand why they refreshed it (small details are hard to print, hard to embroider, and don't show particularly well on small screens/in the small boxes where secondary logos are typically displayed), but it seems much more sterile than the original.

In a lot of ways, the new Sailor Coug logo feels like the new Star Wars movies - wrapped in all the trappings of nostalgia, but lacking the essence of the original.
