Don’t get me wrong, 40 is a significant birthday, but
50 is the new 40, so if you swing too high for 40 your setting yourself up to have to really figure something out for 50 in 10 years. So, I’d celebrate, but just keep it simple and basic. Something like a week in Bora Bora or Indonesia, then you can really go all out when 50 arrives 😉

Best one ever went to was a full on luau with pig in a pit & poly dancers. Of course, they divorced a few years later.
