Go. When my dad passed, we had tons of people show up whom my family had not
seen in years. I appreciated every single one of them showing up to honor my dad's memory. In some ways even more than those we regularly interacted with, because there really was no expectation. It meant a lot, and at no point was I upset or concerned we hadn't seen them in a while.
