Lots of truth there. My recent experiences have definitely made me more sensitive to opportunities to empathize with and
love and support others. I often tell them "I don't know what to say, mainly because nothing I say can take away what you're feeling right now, but I know what to feel, and right now I just feel love for you and want you to know how loved you are."
Like you said, people don't need to be spoken to or told things about what to feel or think, they just need to feel loved and supported.
