Right now some inexperienced guys are getting reps. Other than losing Empey, the rest of the starters will return next season, plus a couple of guys who played a lot (Pay & Campbell Barrington). Another year in the program will also benefit some of the recent RM's (conditioning & practice reps), so hopefully there will be a couple of other guys who are ready to step up. Like you mentioned, it also wouldn't hurt to get a solid juco or transfer portal player to help with competition/depth, and possibly be an upgrade over a current starter.
