What exactly are you looking for? I’ve swapped engines in two FJ40s. I didn’t go quite so modern, but put a 3fE (out of a 1992 FJ80) into both of mine. It’s a bit older engine, but still fuel injected. I love it as it keeps the engine in the cruiser family, but has the EFI.
LS swaps are getting more popular. A 350 small block V8 has been a popular swap for a long time, but nowadays seems like a bit less.
A Cummins diesel would be cool I think. Or a newer UZ Toyota engine, depending on fit.
