There is a major flaw in your entire argument here… inflation doesn’t affect all
assets equally. Which is why home values have skyrocketed while food prices have experienced a much more moderate increase.

And your stock example is wrong. It totally depends on which stocks you purchase. Like I just stated… some companies benefit from inflation and so do their stock, so it depends on the type of stock you own.

Wealthy individuals have portfolio managers and advisors so they adjust their investments accordingly. In the end, the poor suffer much more from inflation than the wealthy.
