I'm aware of what financial wizards advise, so I'm not one of those guys, but
I keep a car a long time, buy something in good condition and run it into the ground.
I have eliminated all payments, save tax payments. It's very liberating to have no payments, save one's alimony or tax payments. Again, you smart financial wizards believe I'm crazy but a sense of peace or peace of mind is worth something too.
