Had same injury years ago thinking I was a better skier than I really ever was, it's not nearly as painful as it looks. My guess is that the physical pain is tiny compared to his emotional disappointment not being there for his teammates. He's a tough dude, he'll be back. Appreciate what these great young men friend and foe risk and do so much more when you see them get hurt like this.
