Lincoln Riley may regret his decision to go to USC.
I have experience working closely with USC at the highest levels.

The money will be good. USC has a reputation for being loose with its money. The university has tremendous financial resources and its Board of Trustees is willing to pay dearly when they change directions.

Winning will be easier. The PAC ain’t the SEC or the B12.

But the culture at USC, particularly at the top, is incredibly toxic. It is difficult to pay someone enough money to deal with the top admins and the BoT. Perhaps Riley’s contract is enough money for that. But on top of all the usual expectations of a brand name P5 football coach, the added stress and watch-your-backside strain of dealing with those people on a regular basis is something Riley likely has not factored in.

Good luck to you sir.
