Going back to single knockouts in the playoffs almost inevitably results in your best teams not winning your premier trophy. It's fun to see RSL as a beneficiary this year. But, in the long run, I don't think that's good for the league. I hope they go back to two legs, and I wouldn't be opposed to a Best of 3 format.

They've got to figure out how to emphasize the regular season more. It's better than it used to be when 2/3s of the teams made the playoffs. But there still isn't a just reward for conference champions and Supporters' Shield winners.
