For some reason, I feel like the costal Carolina game last year was squarely on the defense not adjusting… however this season I have been really impressed with the defense. Utah, ASU, USU, and even the BSU game, the D really did its job. Against baylor, we just got beat. I didn’t love how they played against Georgia Southern, however against USC I thought the defense did as good as can be expected - especially because we were playing elite athletes with a bunch of not great talent. I think I’d give Tuiaki a solid B+ or A- for the defense this year.
