Offense has had injuries too but has had quality backups ready to step in. Why hasn't the defense? Tuiaki has been DC for SIX yrs now. No excuse for not having depth.

Tuiaki's does have a vision but it's a lame one, and he doesn't seem inclined to improve on it. Lazy? Thinks his defensive scheme is perfect?
The 'numbers' don't show that he has a good defense. Which 'numbers' are you looking at?
Tuiaki's brand of defense is average (i.e. mediocre) at best.
