Those that complain about 0-0 draws are just ignorant. Obviously it can be a
not so thrilling result, but in some cases it’s a huge result. They just don’t understand how a title is won in soccer.
There are no playoffs in a regular season. A win is 3 points, a tie is 1 and a lose is 0. After playing every team twice, home and away, the team with the most points wins the league. Plus the bottom 3 teams get thrown out of the league and replaced with the next best 3 teams from the division below. Hence, a tough 0-0 draw can mean the world.
