I am sorry for your family. You should listen to all the stories of similar or worse things from COVID. If you think

you are doing the safe thing by avoiding the vaccine you are blinded to the dangers COVId presents. The statistics are real. Getting COVID is a much much higher risk for those things than the vaccine is. And that doesn’t downplay your family’s pain. It is just reality.
