There was actually more to the story. One place told us we could get insurance
with a rider that they wouldn't cover anything related to my wife's issue. We were skeptical enough to believe they would find a way for anything to be related to it. So, they told us after 3 years we wouldn't need the rider.
At 2.5 years, our younger child was born and my wife had the issue again. So we had to add three more years, at that point we just decided for her to stay permanently.
