My daughter’s favorite things we did was the Met and going to the 9/11 memorial right before it closed. Not many people,
And it was serene and felt like hallowed ground. There is also a movie theater just around the corner from the memorial that we caught a late night movie after that.
She was 14 at the time and loved it. We had basically the same amount of time as you are taking and we did all the normal stuff, but these are the two things that stood out in her mind.
