Utah had it close at one point, down one with 30% of the game left. Which is a LOT of game left. And Arizona was dominant from that point.
So it helps to think of it from a football perspective. Imagine Oklahoma was playing Oregon - two highly(ish) ranked teams - and Oregon closed the gap to 20-19 with a few minutes left in the 3rd quarter, before being outscored 21-7 the rest of the way. Then the story would be Oklahoma blew out Oregon
But if the same thing happened when Middle Tennessee St (#100 by Sagarin) played Ohio St (#3 Sagarin) the story would be either "Ohio St struggled before getting it together late" or "Upset-minded Middle Tennessee ran out of gas in their surprise bid to shock Ohio St".
Given the massive disparity between Utah (#101) and Arizona (#4) the bigger story is Utah keeping it close for a while, even more so than Arizona beating them soundly. Because Utah is so so bad
