A lot of people are expecting a ZW type of improvement for Hall next year but
that's not likely.

ZW's meteoric improvement from second to third year were fueled by a couple of key things.

First, he was not healthy the entire off season before his Sophomore year. This set him back completely in development that year. He never got it back. He was finally fully healthy coming into his a Junior year. This is likely the biggest factor in ZWs difference from Sophomore to Junior.

Second, ZW was 19 turning 20. Hall will be 24 turning 25. Big difference.

I do think Hall will improve Sophomore year to Junior year but I doubt it will be like Wilson's.

From all I can find, Jaren Hall is 22… he was born January 1st, 2000. Why do so many say he’s turning 25? (WP17, Jan 19, 2022 at 9:07am)
