At least many (like myself) doubt it will. Not without a lot of work, anyways. As we're seeing right now, Hunter Erickson — as physically dominant as he was in HS — is finding the transition to D1 a difficult one. In part because he's not very long, has small hands, & was neither an excellent ball handler nor shooter coming in. But at least he's got a coach now that knows he needs to work on some things before he throws himself deep into the fire.
I see similar struggles for Hall. Yes, unlike Erickson, he's got a PG skillset — but for all his athleticism, he is NOT the same level of athlete that Hunter is. Is he a special facilitator? Does he see the court well? I honestly haven't seen nearly enough on him to even know. I do think, though — that if he did those two things well, that it would reflect better in his recruiting ratings. As Mr. Utah, he certainly wasn't overlooked by the evaluators.
