It's not all of a sudden. Coaches have long maintained a solid relationship
with Dart and his family. They didn't burn bridges when he chose USC over them. He and ARod have a good bond.
The suddenness part might be the fact he went into the portal visisted OU & Ole Miss...and then blam was on a visit at BYU. Maybe that's what you're referring to?
I think sudden-ness is going to happen a lot in this new world of the transfer portal. Especially with high level players that schools will be all over quickly.
