To be fair, Hall's HS stats were average at best-Which is why HS stats mean...
...very little. Support cast, competition, coaching(EG scheme, etc) seem to have more impact on the HS level than any other (relating to stats).

Very simple example: do a quick "stat check" on MaxPreps. Any stats or any sport really. The discrepancies are so wide ranging compared to college or pro.

EG this yr a HS RB rushes for 2500+ yds in 12gm @ 13.5 ypc yet no D1 offers (not even FCS) while another HS RB is barely over 1000 yds and well under 10ypc but has multiple P5 offers. Theres nothing like that in college/pro. Top starting college RB averages 7ypc and vast majority of all other starting backs ave at least 4+ ypc.

I'm actually huge on stats. Too fixated at times, but stats alone mean very little on the HS level.
