Your list is pretty accurate but you missed a few positive things....
--They NEVER judge you, unlike humans do. They just love you no matter what.
--They, in some cases, literally, just suck anxiety out of you when you pet them
--They are the first ones who meet you at the door every day. Does your HCBW do that? Yeah, mine neither.
--You could discipline them and they'll turn around and lick you to death
--They are great for children in SO many ways
--When I lost our Golden Retriever last July (14 years old) I cried like a baby. They take sacrifice but then again, so do kids.
--And unlike children, you can kick them outside in the backyard when you need to. Wait, I did that a few times with my kids too. 🙂
