What happens to people that change jobs 5+ times in x number of years? What’s the endgame?
I see so many people on LinkedIn who are on their 5th job in 6 or 7 years out of college. Change those numbers however you like.

What’s the endgame here? I don’t think these people are being fired, they are just jumping and likely getting paid better each time.

But eventually you have to settle down at a place for basically the rest of your career, right? Or are people my age going to eventually be 55 years old and have worked at 25 different companies for 1-2 years?

I admit there may be a selection bias here based on people who are on LinkedIn, but it seems relatively common to see resumes with 4-6 jobs in 5 years or so.
