How much do you trust that data? It's actually wrong(Link)
When I heard these numbers coming into this year I was really curious on how. Well pretty much the whole narrative is really interesting. Our offense while returning most of our playmakers other than QB was really low because almost no value is given to the running backs(5%). So basically we returned everybody minus Zach and Dax but we were one of the lowest returning offenses in the country. So that made sense.

On defense, I don't have a clue how he wrote this last February and came up with these numbers. Either the 16% is just plain wrong or the article is wrong about how he comes up with his formula. He's giving 87% weighting to returning tackles. Of the players that played or were supposed to play last year(I included Micah Harper because he got hurt after the article was written) they had over half the tackles and PD's on the 2020 team so 16% makes 0 sense and actually should be over 50%
