Perhaps the problem is the fact that they're "workers"
want a low-risk job? be a worker and make what everyone else does. Just want to do the 9-5, 2 breaks and a lunch and then complain when you aren't getting paid more? That's myopic. Problem is all these people went crying to the government that they're being oppressed and the evil business are thriving off their slave labor.

So government listened to the whiners and have a) given boatloads of easy money away b) created real and effective wage price floors all around the country in virtually every industry and then stood around AGHAST and in SHOCK at the inflationary effect that pushed everything even FURTHER out of reach than it was before.

Here's the truth: if you're not delivering value to the economy, you don't DESERVE to be paid more. And when you tax the actual value creators, aka business owners and risk takers, with wage requirements, ever increasing benefit mandates and anything else you can think of to make things 'fair', you are actually limiting the collective value creation of the entire system and making it WORSE for the non-value creators.

If you want to make more money?, learn to create value. Learn to take risks. You have to get creative, and you have to do things different. You also have to be okay losing along the way. Point is, if you look at salaries as some kind of right to wealth., youre self -idenfitying as someone who does not deserve to be paid more
