I have a steady job and am on track with my retirement goal (solid middle class golden years) so I would want to use at least half of it investing in things that matter: health & family relationships. So that would include emergency preparedness (food storage, generator/solar, first aid kits), gym/yoga membership, vacations, Camper, Plastic Surgery (some nice calf implants for me), yard/home upgrades, season tickets, etc.

As for investing, I think there will be a lot of old couples who will need to down size so they can access the equity in their homes for retirement. So I would try and build a small spec home (~1,200 sqft) and rent it for a year until i can sell at LT tax rates.
