like it was down the stretch this last season. I'd be surprised if Pope once again tries to groom him with a limited-minutes starting role. We have too many young, promising scorers on the bench (who have less defensive limitations than Knell) for us to make that kind of investment in him.
If one of our young shooters comes in & absolutely blows up, I think Knell's minutes naturally become the first to evaporate entirely. He is a strong kid, though — so if he can redeem himself as a dependable shooter I think he can keep his limited role at the 3 even if one of our young studs emerges bigtime. Pope obviously likes Trevor quite a bit to have stuck with him, despite. The kids really struggled almost the whole of this last season. The promise he showed late the season before — it just didn't return except for perhaps a few moments — few & far between.
