But I recommend getting your dog a dog. They are so much easier in twos. I mean sure it’s twice as much food and poop, but it is totally worth it because they can play with each other and keep each other entertained. I had my puppy for a while before I got her a dog and once the second dog came, the first one basically showed her all the ropes and what to do and when so it was much easier.
If a second dog isn’t an option, they have channels you can leave on TV for your dog to watch or for background noise. I also have friends who use CBD to relax the dog and keep it anxiety free. I think a lot of exercise is also a great way to wear them out and keep their mind off it.
