Yeah Rudy defenders have their head in the sand. Help defense will always be a
thing. Plus Rudy's value is for him to protect the rim so even if stayed on the perimeter instead of sagging to the paint he wouldn't be very effective. He tried guarding Doncic on perimeter and got abused. Same thing with Clippers last year. He struggles guarding athletic wings with length on the perimeter.
